This site collects one thing: your email address, and only if you type it into the signup form. It is used to email you about new music. It is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own marketing, and you can be removed at any time in one click.

Your email address — only when you submit the signup form. It is stored with Resend, the service used to send these emails, and is used for one purpose: sending you release announcements and occasional news.

Your IP address, briefly — when you submit the form, your IP address is counted in memory to limit how many times the same source can sign up in an hour. This site never writes it to a database. It is passed to Cloudflare as part of the bot check described below, and the web host keeps its own short-lived request logs, as every web host does.

Anonymous visit statistics — page views and referring sites, through Vercel Analytics. This is cookieless and aggregate: it reports how many people visited a page, not who they were. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used anywhere on this site.

Vercel hosts the site and, like any web host, records standard server request logs.

Resend stores the mailing list and delivers the emails.

Cloudflare Turnstile runs a bot check on the signup form. It is a privacy-focused alternative to a CAPTCHA and does not track you across other sites, but it does mean Cloudflare sees the request when you submit the form.

Earlier releases used Feature.fm and PUSH.fm to run pre-save links. Those pre-save pages are no longer linked from this site, but if you pre-saved through one, that connection to your streaming account can outlast the link. You can disconnect it in your streaming service's own app settings, or email me and I will help.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and most email apps also show an unsubscribe button at the top of the message. One click and you stop receiving them.

To have your address deleted outright rather than just unsubscribed, email contact@benjaminreidmusic.com and it will be removed.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and there is no intent to collect their information. If a child's address ended up on the list, email the address above and it will be deleted.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. A change that meaningfully affects how your email is used will be announced in an email rather than quietly posted here.
